ECONOMIC SOCIAL AND ECOLOGICAL IMPLICATIONS OF INDUSTRIAL RELOCATIONS
The experience of development shows that industrialization has important role in increasing people's economic welfare. Referring to the success of industrialized countries, developing countries also pur- sue industrialization, among others supported by foreign investment. Moreover, some industries in advanced countries have been relocated to developing countries to seek lower labor cost, weak environment regulation as well as market expansion. In spite of its impact on eco- nomic growth, industrialization may cause social and environmental problems as occurred in developing countries. These problems main- ly caused by unintegrated location planning, exploration labor cost. rent seeking, violation and ignorance to environmental regulations
